Freelance Tutor Terms

• Eligibility to Join: You must be 18 years or older, have good character, and possess a clean legal record. You will need to provide valid PAN Card and Aadhar Card details.

• Freelancing Status: You will remain an independent freelancer and will not be considered an employee of VenusMoon Education.

• Session-based Payments: You will be paid on a pay-per-session basis.

• Payment Schedule: Payments will be processed fortnightly, with a 14-day cooling period after each session to ensure proper feedback and dispute resolution if necessary. Payments will be made on a designated date, which will be communicated to you via email.​

3.0 Tutoring Guidelines and Conduct

​

• You are responsible for maintaining professionalism, respect, and integrity while interacting with students.

• Tutors must follow VenusMoon’s guidelines, including:

  • No discrimination based on caste, religion, gender, ethnicity, or learning ability.

  • Respectful communication with students.

  • Lessons should be educational and relevant to the subjects being taught.

  • No sharing personal contact information or attempting to communicate with students outside the VenusMoon platform.

  • Any form of harassment, abuse, or unprofessional conduct will not be tolerated.

  • Freelancers and teachers must respect the confidentiality of all user information shared on the platform, including students' personal and academic data. Unauthorised sharing or misuse of such data is strictly prohibited.

• Academic Integrity: We strongly discourage any form of academic dishonesty. You should not assist students in activities like exam cheating, completing their homework, assignments, or projects for them. VenusMoon is built on principles of academic honesty and expects all tutors to uphold these values.

  • Use of AI Tools: When using our AI tools like RamAI, students must understand that they are interacting with an AI agent, not a human. RamAI is a learning aid and should not be used to produce work for academic submissions. Tutors must encourage students to use these tools responsibly and guide them to think critically.

• Student Safety: Protect the privacy and safety of your students by ensuring all interactions are on the platform. VenusMoon does not tolerate bullying, harassment, or discrimination.

• Platform Security: You must not use our platform for illegal activities, such as exam cheating, solving real-time test questions, or sharing false information. Misuse of the platform will lead to immediate termination of your tutor profile.

 

4.0 Ownership of Content

• Any educational content (lesson plans, notes, materials) that you create during sessions belongs to you. VenusMoon does not claim ownership of your content but content shared on the platform is licensed for use within VenusMoon’s community.

• Your personal data and all student-related information will remain secure on our platform. We do not use this data for marketing, research, or training purposes without consent.​

 

5.0 Termination and Suspension

​

• Illegal activities, inappropriate behaviour, or breach of our terms will result in the termination of your profile and services on VenusMoon.

• Your participation in tutoring can be terminated for misuse of platform tools or contacting students outside of the VenusMoon platform.

• We retain the right to suspend or terminate your account based on repeated poor feedback or breaches of academic integrity.​

 

6.0 Privacy and Data Security

​

• Data Security: VenusMoon ensures that your interactions on the platform are private. We do not share or sell your data to third parties.

• AI Usage: RamAI, our AI tutor, uses cutting-edge AI technology to generate personalidsed responses and images. All AI interactions, including voice and image generation, are stored for 30 days to ensure session integrity and proper resolution of any issues. After 30 days, this data is permanently deleted from our servers.

• Audio and Image Data: Any audio files (RamAI's voice responses) and generated images will be deleted within 30 days of the session. We will not use these files for training AI or any other purposes. The voice you hear from RamAI is purely AI-generated, and no real human voice is involved in real-time.

• Transparency: We value your privacy and transparency. You can view our Privacy Policy for further details on how we handle data collection, storage, and deletion.​

 

7.0 Academic Honesty Policy

​

• Educational Purpose Only: VenusMoon’s platform is intended for educational purposes only. Tutors and students must not engage in or promote cheating, fraudulent activities, or violations of academic integrity.

• Prohibited Use of AI: Students and tutors are strictly prohibited from using RamAI or any other tools on VenusMoon to complete homework, assignments, projects, exams, or any other academic work that violates school, college, or university policies.

  • The content generated by our AI tools should only be used for learning and guidance. It is not meant to be submitted as a final answer or academic work.

  • Tutors must guide students to produce original work while using AI tools as learning aids.

• Prohibited Use: You are not allowed to use this platform for activities that promote exam cheating, bullying, harassment, spreading misinformation, or violence.

• Legal Disclaimer: The AI-generated content is a learning aid, and we do not guarantee that the output generated is entirely accurate. Tutors must assist students in reviewing and interpreting the content.

 

8.0 Compliance and Legal Obligations

• Tax and GST Compliance: As a freelance tutor, you are responsible for complying with applicable tax laws, including GST regulations, if applicable. Ensure you keep accurate financial records for reporting your freelance income.

• TDS (Tax Deducted at Source): If applicable, VenusMoon may deduct TDS as per Indian law, and you will be provided with the appropriate documentation for your records.​

• Feedback: Your feedback is important to us. Please share your experience through our feedback form to help us improve.​

 

This agreement is subject to changes and updates, and VenusMoon reserves the right to modify these terms. Any modifications will be communicated to you in advance.
